Park Dental Partners reports unauthorized network access with possible patient data exposure

Published 2026-09-27. By the cisonews.net Desk.

Park Dental Partners, a dental practice management company, disclosed on September 1, 2026 that it had identified unauthorized access to its computer network on August 28. It filed under Item 1.05 four days later, before it knew whether patient information had been compromised.

The filing

The company said operations were not materially disrupted and explained its reason for filing. Much of the rest of the filing describes the company's security program, including its use of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.

On impact, Park Dental said an estimate was not yet possible.

Unknowns at filing

The scope of any compromise of personal or protected health information was still under investigation. The filing does not describe the type of intrusion, name a threat actor, or say whether any demand was made of the company.
